ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Upon your arrival at JULIUS KAMBARAGE NYERERE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JKIA) DAR ES SALAAM or from the hotel at Dar es Salaam you will be met at 07:00am by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you by road to SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE in Nyerere National Park, with lunch box within. On reaching to your accommodation relax from a strenuous drive, dive into the swimming pool to cool off and wash off the day’s sweat, late afternoon boating excursions may be arranged. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at the lodge. What we love about the SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE is that its great wildlife viewing opportunities, professional staff, reliable and outstanding service and the lodge is also found within Nyerere National Park, adding the taste as you will spend nights here surrounded by wildlife sounds, from groans to barks, roars to howls, chirps to chatters.

DAY 2-4

After a hearty breakfast at SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE at around 07:30 am, start a full day game drive within Nyerere National Park with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy all of what Nyerere has to offer you from the best breathtaking views, rich diversities of both flora and fauna and other eye-catching things, the park has an array of activities which we can arrange to suit your economic position, interests and reasons. After lunch do a short game drive, then embark to the lodge. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at lodge. .

DAY 5-8

After a hearty breakfast at SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE at around 08:00am, drive to RUAHA RIVER LODGE in RUAHA NATIONAL PARK, with lunch within. After lunch do a short game drive, then embark to the lodge. Full day game drives on day 6, 7 and 8 with all meals provided on full board basis plus accommodation. Activities conducted here will never disappoint you, here you will have an ample time to explore the natural southern circuit in a fantastic way. We will take you into the virgin lands and find the real peace of mind and the sense of being in wild. We do love Ruaha River Lodge for its awesome view, outstanding service, spacious and clean rooms.

DAY 9-13

After a hearty breakfast at Ruaha River Lodge at around 08:00 am, drive to Ruaha Airstrip catch a local flight to ZANZIBAR. Zanzibar gives you an ample time to enjoy what it has to offer from its blue waters, its beautiful islands and serene beaches with white dazzling sands to its richness in history and culture, while in Zanzibar do not be in a hurry and you will get to know why. Accommodation on full board basis will be at PWANI BEACH RESORT and SPA, where you will enjoy your meals, overnight stays and other activities (important). DAY 14

After a warm breakfast at hotel at around 08:00 am, transfer back to Dar es Salaam and drop off to either hotel or transfer to airport for departure. End of service .
