ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Upon your arrival at JULIUS KAMBARAGE NYERERE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JKIA) DAR ES SALAAM or from the hotel at Dar es Salaam you will be met at 07:00am by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you by road to SELOUS JIMBIZA CAMP in Nyerere National Park, with lunch box within. Enjoy the game en-route to camp. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at camp on full board basis. What we love about the SELOUS JIMBIZA CAMP is they offer good, reliable and outstanding service, clean rooms with views over the Rufiji River and exciting excursions on the river and in the park, and their professional bubbling staff all in all promising of a rewarding adventurous stay. A swimming pool is there for you, toss yourself in the waters to cool off, after a strenuous 6 hours’ drive from Dar es Salaam.

DAY 2-4

After a hearty breakfast at the camp (SELOUS JIMBIZA) at around 08:00 am, on day 2, 3, and 4 respectively, do full day game drives within this magnificent national park with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy all of what this new park has to offer you from its best and large concentration of faunal species and a rich collection of wildlife that is abundant and diverse, its terrain and a collection of physical features will never let you down, a point of satisfaction is at its high vintage point/maximum. The park offers an array of activities that gives guests great opportunities to enjoy its beauty (its serene beauty). We arrange an array of activities which suits you accordingly considering your economic position, interests and reasons for traveling. After lunch do a short game drives then embark to camp. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp. .

DAY 5-7

After a warm breakfast at camp at around 08:00am, in Nyerere NATIONAL PARK, drive to STANLEYS KOPJES CAMP in MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK with lunch within. After lunch do a short game drive, while heading to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. Full day game drives on day 6 and 7 respectively with all meals and accommodation provided on full board basis. Activities conducted in this serene park will made you enjoy an up-close contact with the wild animals and nature as well. What we love about the STANLEYS KOPJES CAMP is its great game viewing, professional staffs, clean and spacious room, reliable and an outstanding service.

DAY 8

After a hearty breakfast at the camp at around 08:00 am, drive to UDZUNGWA MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK, with lunch box within, enjoy the best of Udzungwa, a magnetic park for hikers, with its excellent network of forest trails including the popular half day ramble to SANJE WATERFALLS plunge at 170m through a misty spray into the forested valley below. Over 400 species of birds have been recorded in the park making it an important destination to bird lovers, mammals and other floral species numbers are in plenty. Enjoy lunch at picnic site, after lunch do a short walk and drive back to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 9-11

After a hearty breakfast at the CAMP at around 08:00am, drive to MWAGUSI CAMP in RUAHA NATIONAL PARK, with lunch box within. After lunch do a short game drive, while heading to the camp for dinner and overnight stay. Full day game drives on day 10 and 11 respectively with all meals and accommodation provided on full board basis. Activities conducted in this magnificent park dotted with concentrations of mega herbivores, mega carnivores and mega flora among other attractions will never disappoint. All of the southern Tanzania protected areas gives you scintillating, sparkling and thrilling experiences found nowhere else. What we love about MWANGUSI CAMP is that it has a friendly and peaceful atmosphere, each element of the camp has been carefully thought-out and designed to be original and different from any other with personal touches and a close attention to detail.

DAY 12

After a hearty breakfast at MWANGUSI CAMP at around 08:00am, start a half-day game drive within Ruaha National Park, with lunch at picnic site. After lunch drive to STANLEYS KOPJES CAMP for dinner and overnight stay (MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK).

DAY 13

After a warm breakfast at STANLEYS KOPJES CAMP in MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK at around 08:00 am, drive to Dar es Salaam and Drop off to either hotel or transfer to airport for departure.
