ITINERARY DETAILS

DAY 1

Upon your arrival at JULIUS KAMBARAGE NYERERE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JKIA) DAR ES SALAAM or from the hotel at Dar es Salaam you will be met at 07:00am by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you by road to SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE in Nyerere National Park, with lunch box within. On reaching to your accommodation relax from a strenuous drive, dive into the swimming pool to cool off, with late afternoon boat rides.
Enjoy meals and overnight stay at the lodge.

DAY 2

After a hearty breakfast at SERENA MIVUMO RIVER LODGE at around 08:00 am, start a full day game drive within Nyerere National Park with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy all of what Nyerere has to offer you from its serene beauty and terrains, its meandering rivers, its lakes and the diversity of both flora and fauna will leave an imprint into your soul/heart, different activities are done here to emphasize the taste of your trip including bird watching safaris, hot air balloon rides, boating, game viewings and many more. After lunch do a short game drive, then embark to the lodge.
Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at lodge. Early morning walks may be arranged.

DAY 3

After a warm breakfast at lodge at around 07:30am, drive to MIKUMI NATIONAL PARK, VUMA HILLS CAMP with lunch box within. What we love about the lodge is its location, accessibility, professional staff, reliable and an outstanding service, Vuma hills tents are comfortably furnished, complete with shaded wooded veranda at the front and en-suite bathroom facilities at the back. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp.

DAY 4

After a hearty breakfast at the camp at around 07:30 am, start a full day game drive within Mikumi National Park, with lunch at picnic site. Enjoy the best of what Mikumi has to offer. After lunch start a short game drive then embark to camp. Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay at camp.

DAY 5

After a hearty breakfast at the VUMA HILLS CAMP at around 07:30am, drive to SAADANI NATIONAL PARK, SAADANI RIVER LODGE, with lunch box within. What we love about the lodge is its location hidden within the trees bordering the WAMI RIVER, its breathtaking views allows guests to watch the local wildlife while enjoying their meals, massages at the in-house spa, professional staff and many more. Enjoy meals and overnight stay at lodge.

DAY 6

After a warm breakfast at the lodge at around 08:00am, start a full day game drive within the Saadani national park, and other activities, enjoy the best of what Saadani has to offer from game drive (land activities) to water activities all of which will leave you refreshed and satisfied. Enjoy lunch at picnic site after lunch do a short game drive then embark to lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 7

After a heart breakfast at SAADANI RIVER LODGE at around 08:30am, drive to OCEANIC BAY HOTEL & RESORT, BAGAMOYO with lunch box within. On reaching the accommodation it’s a high time to enjoy what the hotel will provide you together with its conducive environment. What we love about OCEANIC BAY HOTEL & RESORT is set in a beautiful tropical garden, spacious deluxe and executive rooms all air conditioned, rooms either face the sea or swimming pool, and guests can enjoy their meals on their private terrace or balcony, good services and professional staff make it worthy and to suite your accommodation interests. DAY 8

After a warm breakfast at hotel at around 08:00 am, start a half-day tour in BAGAMOYO, at around 00:00 noon, transfer to Dar es Salaam and Drop off to either hotel or transfer to airport for departure. End of service
