SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a wide heritage site and recently proclaimed a worldwide wonder, its famous for its annual migration where millions of herbivores traverse through the 30000km2 Serengeti-Mara ecosystem plodding in clockwise direction looking for green pasture, termite mounds may be seen towering the plains, large buttressed fig trees, lots of predators prowling the plains, large granite rocks, the kopjes where rock hyraxes and lizards to scuffle around a host vantage points for the meat eaters as well as sunbathing stations. A park hosts the highest density of lions and home to big five mega carnivores and mega herbivores.

ZANZIBAR ISLAND

Zanzibar is one of the beautiful island in east Africa famously known for its sultry tropical climate and a multitude of idyllic sand beaches, mingle with the Zanzibaris and get to learn from them ,being known for its sea and the coral reefs, which offers both diving ,snorkeling as well as game fishing, enjoy the Kizimkazi dolphins ,the giant sea turtles of Nungwi, the primates of Jozani forest, rock aquarium and it’s seemingly endless palm-lined tropical beaches where vacationers, Homebodies, moderates, intrinsic and keen safari-goers rounding off their trip with a short stay on the island is the best option one can make.

DAY 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS and you will be transferred by road to KUDU LODGE, Karatu, Ngorongoro Tanzania. DAY 2

After breakfast at kudu lodge at around 08:00 am, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, then proceed to Ngorongoro Crater (caldera). The caldera is the main feature of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and was formed 2-3 million years ago when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself. The crater was voted by seven natural wonders as one of the seven natural wonders of Africa in Arusha 2013. The volcano was active from about 2.45-2 million years ago. Enjoy lunch at picnic site after lunch do a short game drive, embark to KUDU LODGE for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 3

After a hearty breakfast at KUDU lodge at around 08:00 am drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Game drive, Game viewing and Masai culture tour traverse through the plains, and visit the spectacular moving, volcanic ash dunes magnetic in nature, visit the Olduvai Gorge, the Nasera Rock, the Olduvai Museum among other eye-catching best sub-destinations in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy lunch at picnic site and do a short game drive then embark to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4

After a warm breakfast at the lodge at around 0800am, start a drive to SERENGETI SERENA LODGE in Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight stay. What we love about Serengeti serena lodge is its outstanding and reliable classic service from their charming staff, location is the best at it is set high hence commanding panoramic views across the great Serengeti. .

DAY 5

After a warm breakfast at Serengeti serena lodge at 08:00 am, start a full day game drive within Serengeti national park, a UNESCO world heritage site and seven wonders of Africa a huge park teeming with variety of predators both the cruel hunters and killers to stalkers, stranglers gliding and beautiful nights with full of cricket chirrups. Enjoy lunch at picnic site, after lunch do a short game drive and embark to lodge for dinner and overnight stay

DAY 6

It’s a full day stay at the lodge, refreshing, relaxing sharing ideas, swimming on the pools and gain strength. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner (meals) at the lodge. (Bush dinner may be arranged)y

DAY 7

After a hearty breakfast at lodge, at around 08:00 am do a short game drive, then catch a flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar airport you will be met by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you to NEPTUNE PWANI BEACH RESORT and SPA located in PWANI MCHANGANI Enjoy meals, dinner and overnight stay. DAY 8

After a hearty breakfast at the resort at around 0800am, visit the SPICE PLANTATION for a spice tour, a tour which will take you through and get to know various spices and herbs used in traditional food, cures for ailments and traditions, proceed to STONETOWN where you will get to learn, hear ,feel and smell the difference, get to know the places and stories of slavery, old fort, Zanzibar door, Freddie’s house, house of miracle and many more, thereafter sail in a traditional wooded boat, drink a beer in the walls of an old prison and feed the giant tortoise in the prison island [changuu island].
Enjoy meals [lunch plus fresh fruits and a local drink, beer].
Transfer back to resort for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 9

After a hearty breakfast at lodge, at around 08:00 am do a short game drive, then catch a flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar airport you will be met by a member of DASSIE SAFARIS team who will transfer you to NEPTUNE PWANI BEACH RESORT and SPA located in PWANI MCHANGANI

DAY 10

After a warm breakfast at NEPTUNE PWANI BEACH RESORT AND SPA at around 0800am visit the ROCK AQUARIUM where you will have a golden opportunity to mingle and swim with the TURTLES, then proceed along the beach to a fishing village where we will get to see the construction of the traditional dhow boats and the life of the residents, later on sail to the SUNSET in NUNGWI one of the most beautiful and breathtaking beaches having refreshments and live music in Lodz. Enjoy meals
Transfer to resort for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 11

After a hearty breakfast at the resort at around 08:00am, transfer to airport and connect with your international flight back home.
